China's first set of high gravity super heavy oil electric desalting sewage treatment equipment successfully put into operation
A few days ago, the first set of large-scale high-gravity ultra-heavy oil electric desalination wastewater treatment equipment developed by Keli Technology for a petrochemical enterprise in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, China, was successfully completed and put into operation. Continuous monitoring data show that the device runs smoothly, and the discharge indicators meet the design discharge requirements.
It is reported that the petrochemical enterprise desalination plant sewage discharge is about 25m3 /h, because its crude oil comes from the Middle East heavy oil, the proportion of crude oil is extremely high, the density is as high as 0.98 or more, resulting in its desalination sewage effluent is bad, the conventional treatment process is difficult to meet the standard, in order to ensure that the unit sewage does not impact the downstream sewage treatment plant. At the same time, it is urgent to add a new complete set of electric desalting wastewater pretreatment facilities to recover good quality crude oil from dirty oil water.

In the first pretreatment, pure physical method is used to remove emulsified oil from sewage. The oil-water separation efficiency is high and the effect is stable, and the treatment effect is not unstable due to changes in the quality of sewage and dirty oil.
Using physical demulsification, the demulsification effect is good and stable. After emulsified oil demulsification, the dirty oil can achieve desolidification and dehydration. The dirty oil has good quality and low water content, and can enter the tank area or the electric desalting device for back refining, which is energy-saving, environmental protection and good economic benefits.
