The reason and adjusting method of electric desalting cutting water oil
Reasons for electric desalination to cut water oil:
1 The oil-water boundary of the electric desalting tank is too low, resulting in insufficient oil-water settlement separation time, resulting in desalting and cutting water oil;
2 Cut water control valve or interface meter failure, so that the actual interface in the tank is too low, resulting in cutting water oil;
3 Processing heavy crude oil, desalting temperature is low, resulting in poor separation of oil and water, oil-water interface is unclear, water level cannot be controlled and oil;
4 Oil-water emulsification, forming a stable emulsion, the emulsion into the water phase is cut out;
5 Mixing strength is too high, resulting in mechanical emulsification, dehydration difficulties, resulting in cutting water oil;
6 The amount of crude oil processing is too high, and the settlement stratification time is not enough, so that the oil-water interface is unclear, resulting in cutting water oil.
Adjustment method:
1 Improve the desalting threshold to the process index, and strictly prohibit the desalting threshold below 1# to see the sample port operation;
2 Contact instrument maintenance personnel to rectify the instrument fault in time and ensure that the indoor instrument instructions are consistent with the actual situation.
3 Timely adjust the heat transfer process and appropriately increase the electric desalting temperature;
4 Timely adjust the injection amount of demulsifier according to the nature of crude oil, if the emulsification is caused by too high PH of the water quality, contact the relevant units for treatment in time;
5 Reduce the mixing valve pressure to within the process index;
6 Contact relevant departments to adjust the crude oil processing volume in time to reduce it to the desalting design load.
