Reasons for transformer trip of electric desalting tank:


1 The oil-water interface of the desalting tank is too high, resulting in water carrying of crude oil;


2 The mixing strength is too large, and the oil-water emulsification is serious, resulting in water carrying of crude oil;


3 Heavy crude oil, oil and water difficult to separate, resulting in crude oil with water;


4. The water injection of crude oil suddenly rises, and the water quantity is too large, resulting in water carrying of crude oil;


5. The electrical equipment of the desalting tank is faulty;


6. The injection amount of demulsifier is inappropriate, resulting in thick emulsion layer at oil-water interface;


7 The backwashing intensity is too large, causing a large fluctuation of the boundary level.


Electrical desalting tank transformer trip measures:


After the transformer trip, we must first find out the reason, and then take corresponding measures to try to send power as soon as possible. The specific requirements are:


1 First cut the water auxiliary wire, cut the water to the normal position, desalting tank power supply, and then find out the cause of the interface superhigh, further treatment;


2. Reduce the mixing strength and control the pressure drop before and after the mixer within the range of process indicators;


3 Contact relevant departments to stabilize the properties of crude oil, strengthen the water cut in the desalting tank, appropriately reduce the water injection, ensure the normal interface, appropriately increase the desalting temperature and increase the injection amount of demulsifier, and it is necessary to stop the injection of crude oil;


4 Immediately change the water injection valve control, reduce the water injection to the normal value, strengthen the desalting water, and keep the desalting boundary within the range of process indicators;


5 To find out the problem, according to the nature of the corresponding treatment (such as power failure, water flushing, steaming tank, or entry inspection, etc.);


6 Adjust the injection amount of demulsifier within the range of process indicators;


7 Stop backwashing immediately, and rinse after the power supply is normal, but be sure to master the flushing intensity.
